Which RAM is compatible with my Mac Pro?
It is not always easy to find out which RAM is compatible with your Mac Pro, but with the table found below, we have made things easier for you.
With the table, you can find the right kind of RAM for your Mac Pro, based on the “Model Identifier” or “Model Description”.
You can find the Mac Pro “Model Identifier” or “Model Description” by clicking the Apple logo in the top-left corner and then “About this Mac”.
This pop-up screen displays the “Model Description”, for the “Model Identifier” please click “System Report…”.
For users of older versions of Mac OS X, it may be necessary to click the button at the bottom of the pop-screen to select ‘More Info...’ before the
“Model Description” of your Mac is displayed.
